Before entering law school, Mr. Perkins served in the Utah Air National Guard, and managed mineral properties. During his second and third years of law school, Mr. Perkins was a teaching assistant in the Legal Research and Writing Program. He was on the Dean's List every semester he attended law school.
?Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Perkins joined the law firm of Quane, Smith, Howard and Hull. Mr. Perkins conducts a litigation and risk management practice in Quane Smith, LLP's Boise office. His litigation experience includes employment practices, education, civil rights, insurance, professional liability, accounting and commercial litigation. He has argued cases before the Idaho Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Perkins is involved in all aspects of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation. Mr. Perkins counsels and advises businesses, governmental entities and individuals on risk management strategies, particularly in areas of employment practices and professional liability.
?Mr. Perkins is a member of the Idaho bar. He is admitted to practice before all Idaho state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Idaho, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Perkins is an officer of Rare Earth & Minerals, Inc., an Idaho corporation which mines and markets Idaho garnets and garnet products. Mr. Perkins is a partner in the firm.
