Mr. Peterson grew up in Boise, Idaho, graduating from Capital High School. Mr. Peterson graduated, cum laude, from Utah State University in 1998, obtaining a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He received his J.D. from the University of Idaho in 2001. While in law school, Mr. Peterson was a member of the Idaho Law Review in 2000-2001, serving as a Notes and Comments Editor. In 2000, Mr. Peterson published the Comment “New Twist to an Old Injustice - Genetic Discrimination and Medicare Reform” in the Idaho Law Review. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Peterson served a judicial clerkship from 2001-2003 with Chief Magistrate Judge Larry M. Boyle of the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho.

Mr. Peterson has a general litigation practice. He is a member of the Idaho bar, and is admitted to practice in state and federal courts. Mr. Peterson is an associate with the firm and practices in the Boise office.
